Part Time News Production Assistant

We are currently seeking PT News Production Assistants to join our news team. The ideal candidates should have an understanding of phases for the production of a live 1-hour newscast. Previous education should include college level production classes. Experience and/or Internships at a broadcast facility is a plus. Duties include: camera operation, teleprompter, floor direction, linear and non-linear editing. The ability to work with others as a member of a team is essential. Web Coordinator


OBSNEWS is seeking a talented, creative and personable Web Coordinator to join our team. Maintaining the look of our existing website while working to upgrade it's content and usability, the Web Coordinator will gather, organize and assemble elements in a creative manner that will catch the attention of web consumers. This is not a Web Designer position. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of HTML and JavaScript; Adobe Photoshop; Macromedia FLASH, and Dreamweaver. Candidates should also be able to successfully interface, provide leadership and communicate with all personnel and conduct training as needed. 2-3 years previous experience developing interactive and web design is preferred but not required. This is a newly created position, so candidates should be flexible and adaptable to changes. Writer


OBSNEWS has an immediate opening for a full time Writer. In this position, you will write stories for the newscast, and be available to fill-in for other writers or producers.
