SACRAMENTO (OBSNews.com) - On Thursday January 14, 2010 business leaders from throughout the Sacramento region gathered at the Liquidity Event in downtown Sacramento to honor two local business owners with recognition for being outstanding 'social entrepreneurs' as well as three others who successfully founded and successfully sold a business in the Sacramento region.

The Liquidity Event, a benefit event and silent auction designed to benefit the Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA), Entrepreneur's Organization – Sacramento, and The Sacramento Angels, celebrated its second year and was again emceed by Sacramento's mayor Kevin Johnson.
